Royal Rosca began as a thought at the end of 2023 as a community event created by Hello Habanero, led by my then-partner Edward and I. Inspired by the cultural significance of Roscas, a cherished tradition in the Hispanic community, we envisioned an event that brought vendors, families, and nonprofits together to uplift our culture. I am incredibly proud of the positive impact we made in its creation.

Since then, Hello Habanero has undergone significant changes to our business including a new leadership team. These changes have only strengthened our focus on empowering minority-owned businesses in our community.

We wanted to share that Hello Habanero is no longer affiliated with Royal Rosca or its current leadership. While we are no longer affiliated, we hope this event happens in January. While stepping back from this event was a difficult decision, it comes from a place of deep respect and recognition of the need for change in Hello Habanero.
