Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 14, 2026

Supplynservice LLC, doing business as Hello Habanero, wants this site to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard only, enlarge text, or prefer less motion on screen.

We build toward the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard. Below is what we fixed and what is still not right. We would rather be honest than boast.

The standard we use

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as the target we build toward.

Accessibility is not a box you tick once. It is ongoing work, and this site still has spots that fall short of that target. We name them below.

What we have done

  • A visible focus indicator across the site, so you can always see where you are when using a keyboard.
  • A skip to main content link, as the first keyboard stop on every page.
  • A real label tied to every form field. The grey example text is only an example, not the label.
  • Accessible names on buttons that show only an icon.
  • Alt text on images, and empty alt on the ones that are purely decorative.
  • The mobile menu closes with the Escape key, keeps focus inside while open, and returns focus to the button that opened it.
  • We respect your system's reduce motion setting. If you have it on, animations stop.
  • Form errors are announced and tied to the form, and never signalled by color alone.
  • Spanish pages are now served marked as Spanish, so a screen reader uses the right voice.
  • Social links in the footer have a touch target of at least 24 by 24 pixels.

What is still not right

We know about these and have not fixed them. If one of them is getting in your way, tell us and we will move it up the list.

  • The border on form fields is low contrast against the dark background. If you have low vision, it can be hard to see where a field starts and ends.
  • White text on the orange buttons lands at 3.3 to 1. The standard asks for 4.5 to 1 for regular text.
  • On some pages the main heading only appears once JavaScript loads. With JavaScript turned off, those pages have no main heading at all.
  • The site is dark mode only. There is no light version for people who need one.

Parts we do not control

Some pieces of this site come from other companies and we cannot change how they are built inside. That includes the Google maps in the footer and on our city pages, and Google's reCAPTCHA spam protection on the forms. If one of them blocks you, call or email us and we will handle it with you another way.

We do not use an accessibility widget

We do not install accessibility overlays or widgets that promise to fix a site with one line of code. They do not work well, and many screen reader users prefer to turn them off. We fix the page markup instead.

If something blocks you

If you cannot use part of this site, we want to hear about it. Tell us which page it was and what happened, and if you can, which browser or assistive tool you use.

We answer as fast as we can, and if there is something you need from the site, we will get it to you by email or phone while we fix it.
